An engineering professional with 29 years experience delivering innovative electronic product development and integration projects in the embedded system and consumer electronics sector. I provide expertise in digital television systems design and architecture, IPTV, DVB set top box technology, digital interactive TV, Internet appliances, Web Technology, Multimedia PC hardware, electronic design, and manufacture.
I have a proven record of accomplishment managing and delivering projects for digital television in Europe, the U.S. and Asia including system architecture, project management, product design and electronics manufacturing. Wide engineering and management experience as Managing Director of several SMEs, including 10 years as Managing Director of an SME manufacturing and marketing electronic products. A wide range of commercial and entrepreneurial skills is demonstrated by the establishment and operation of a design and manufacturing company from a zero base. Currently a director of three technology companies based in the U.K. and Thailand.
A creative and prolific designer who can transcribe and deliver technical innovations into realisable applications which have formed the basis for highly commercial products. I have an excellent understanding of how hardware, software and infrastructure products must fit together and how to develop specifications and project plans then project manage mutli-disciplined teams to achieve objectives.
Located in SE Asia with considerable local experience I am the ideal person to manage the delivery of your technology development, integration and manufacturing projects in APAC, ASEAN and India providing local support through our offices at Endurance Technology (Thailand) Co Ltd. in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Experienced in design for manufacture, I can work with high volume manufacturers to introduce products to their factories. I have cultivated an excellent understanding of how to achieve quality low cost production and ensure these benefits are designed into products from the outset. I am particularly adept at spotting areas that could be improved in other people's plans and production processes.
