I was brought up in Sussex, U.K. and graduated from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. I also studied at Cranfield School of Management and Durham University Business School. After graduating I remained in Newcastle to set up Wild Vision, and one of my current consultancy businesses, Pattotek, is still based there.

Since the late nineties I have spent more and more time In Asia, finally moving to Thailand to set up a new company in 2006. Endurance Technology (Thailand) is located in pituresque premises in the northern Thai city of Chiang Mai. Although rapidly transforming into a modern city, Chiang Mai has retained some old world northern Thai, or Lanna charm and we are only five minutes from beautiful jungle covered mountains. The climate here would make many envious. Thailand is a great location to service my clients and partners in India, Malaysia, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea.

When time allows, my favourite leisure activity is my holiday home in Italy. An old cottage, it is situated in a remote mountain village, Patocco, in the North East of the country close to the border with Slovenia. It is an idyllic place, ideal for recuperating from the pressures and rigours of High Technology business. I am a reasonably accomplished cook, inspired by both Italian and Asain cuisine and love good food whilst relaxing with a fine bottle of Italian wine.
